   Brush-a mania!
On April 3 Dr.Vinegar and 2 of his staff went to Brookmede Public School and did a special presentation to 300 students from grades Kindergarten to grade 5. The presentation was called Brush-a mania.

This presentation was part of Dental Health awareness month and was presented to over 50,000 students across Ontario. The Ontario Dental Association and the Rotarians of Don Mills cosponsored it. Two of our staff members, Angela one of our dental hygienists and Julette, Dr. Vinegar's dental assistant attended.

The children watched a short dental health video on good dental health habits. The children played a game choosing good foods and bad and then finally they participated in a 3 minute brush off where they brushed their teeth to a special song. The children each received a booklet with a chart to have their parent's mark each day they brush for the month of April. They will then bring the book back to school and receive a certificate, sticker and a pack of sugarless gum.

Everyone was all smiles and a lot was learned about good dental health.
