Hopefully the gorgeous weather outside has given us a preview of what summer has to offer. This year summer officially begins on June 21. Patio season is ideal for getting together with family and friends, creating countless photo opportunities. Did you know? June 21st is the summer solstice, having the longest period of daylight during the year in our hemisphere. If you are looking for a reason to get outside around lunch time, try this: if you look at your shadow outdoors at noon on the 21st, it will be your shortest 'noontime' shadow of the year...That's worth a look! Summer Break? If you are planning a trip or your children are getting ready to travel over the summer break, now is a great time to come in for a cleaning and a check-up! Remember, a break from your regular schedule should not include a break from proper oral hygiene! Look both ways before you cross the street, always hold an adults hand and brush your teeth after every meal were good pieces of advice when you were a kid. Well guess what, you should always look both ways, it's nice to hold someone's hand and you should still brush your teeth after every meal. Make a habit out of keeping a tooth brush at the office and take a moment to clean your teeth after lunch, (your email can wait). Keep your office tooth brush well covered, dry it after each use and change it more frequently than your home brush (due to office germs). Brushing your teeth will help protect them from decay, refresh you, and get rid of the garlic taste from that pasta you ate, your mouth will appreciate it and so will your coworkers.
