We would like to take this opportunity to update you on all the exciting changes that we have made in our dental office in recent times.

Dentistry has evolved and progressed so much! We too have moved with the times and have upgraded and renovated our facility. We have also acquired some of the latest equipment, which widens our scope of treatment and allows us to provide you with the best that dentistry and technology has to offer. As you can see we have renamed our practice 'Dentistry on Green Lane' and our new website is www.dentistryongreenlane.com. We will attempt to keep you fully informed and updated through our website.

DIGITAL X-RAYS
Yes, we have gone digital. This means that all of our x-ray equipment is digital, which, besides being very efficient, delivers 60-80% less radiation to our patients.

LASER DENTISTRY
	Our new dental laser enables us to do certain smaller restorations without freezing or using a drill. We can also do minor gum surgeries painlessly with minimal freezing and no bleeding.

CROWNS WHILE YOU WAIT
Our latest and most exciting asset is the "CEREC 3D" machine. It allows us to fabricate large tooth restorations and crowns while you wait. While not all crowns can be done in this manner, many restorations that require ceramic material, and some crowns, can be prepared and fitted in one appointment.
The big advantage here is that there is no need for a second appointment, a second freezing and no need for those unpleasant impressions. Also the material used is ceramic, which, when placed, strengthens the tooth. Therefore we have a restoration that is strong, wear resistant and will last for many years to come.

ORAFRESH
Finally our new project at our office. From the beginning of March, we will be opening our 'OraFresh Clinic for the Treatment of Bad Breath' (Halitosis). It has been documented that over 50% of the population suffer from 'mouth odour or bad breath', and for many people this is a chronic condition.
	In the past we encouraged oral hygiene and made sure that the dental health of our patients was under control. It has now been proven that bad breath is the result of a bacterial infection.
Our staff has been trained on the testing and treatment of halitosis and we will be providing this unique service as March 1st 2008. Anyone wising to find out more about this please call our office and speak to Cinzia. The privacy of all communications will be respected at all times.
