June 21st is the summer solstice, having the longest period of daylight during the year in our hemisphere. If you are looking for a reason to get outside around lunch time, try this: if you look at your shadow outdoors at noon on the 21st, it will be your shortest 'noontime' shadow of the year...That's worth a look!

If you are planning a trip or your children are getting ready to travel over the summer break, now is a great time to come in for a cleaning and a check-up!
