As you may know, our office will be participating in our second annual Nissan 5k Run/Walk in support of Meals on Wheels at the Distillery.

We would like to extend a warm thank you to those of you who will be joining us for the Run/Walk. In addition, thank you to those of you who have offered to support our venture. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. There is however no sponsorship required with this event, we simply register and make a small donation.

Out and About!
Dr. Brown attended his 5th annual A.B.L.E. Ball

On May 10th, Dr. Brown attended his 5th annual A.B.L.E. Ball. Dr. Brown sponsors a scholarship awarded by the Association of Black Law Enforcers (A.B.L.E.).

The scholarship is awarded to a black or minority youth to assist them in achieving their educational goals. This year's recipient, Akiela, is in her final year of high school and plans to use the scholarship to pursue studies in criminology and political science. Her goal is to serve youth as a lawyer in the Black community and to build bridges between Black youth and the police.


This is Dr. Brown's fifth year as a sponsor and he even had the pleasure of running into two of our patients at this wonderful event.

Have you ever stood at the electric toothbrush section at your local drugstore and wondered which one to buy?
With the hundreds of electric toothbrushes on the market today, you've got to wonder, which is really the best toothbrush to buy? The best toothbrush that you can buy is the one that you will actually use. It really is that simple!
While there is no scientific evidence that electric toothbrushes are better than manual toothbrushes, it's clear that they're not worse.

The majority of our staff use the Oral B Triumph electric toothbrush and have found a decrease in the amount of plaque buildup. Perhaps it's because they are brushing for the full two minutes or perhaps it's because the toothbrush lets them know how long to brush in each section. For many people, an electric toothbrush can actually make dental care much easier. If you have dexterity problems or grip issues, an electric toothbrush can help.

Our Travels: Goofy and the Big Apple
In April 2008, Kim visited Disney World for their 100th celebration!

She stayed in the Magical Kingdom for 10 days, enjoying the company of such misfits as Mickey, Goofy and Snow White. Kim was accompanied by her husband Jamie and son, Riley.

Kristin and her husband Anthony went to the Big Apple to take in some good food, great wine, fantastic shopping and glorious architecture.

Unfortunately, the season for the Metropolitan Opera was already over but they managed to discover some wonderful hidden gems.
