This month sure has been one for the records. Although it seems like the snow will never end, remember that spring is just around the corner. The ample snow does allow for an abundance of winter activities to help you stay active.

Don't forget that shoveling is an activity! If you are unsure, ask your doctor. Always stretch both before and after and use proper lifting techniques to protect your knees and back.

February is heart month!

It is fitting for Heart Month to have two holidays focused on spending time with family and loved ones. We hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day and took full advantage of Ontario's newest holiday 'Family Day'.

Please feel free to visit the Heart and Stroke Foundation's website for 'heart healthy' tips and other resources.

Wishing you countless reasons to Smile,

Do the gaps between your teeth make you self-conscious?
Will braces interfere with your lifestyle?
Are repeat visits to our offices unlikely to fit your schedule?

You can often eliminate embarrassing spaces without the intrusive nature of braces or other costly, time consuming procedures.

Of the several procedural options available to you, one that may fit your budget, time constraints and expectations is called bonding.
Bonding has become a very common procedure and can usually be completed in one, short, comfortable visit.

What is Bonding?

Next time you brush your teeth take a closer look at your brush. If the ends are starting to fray or the bristles are losing their shape, it's time for a new brush.

We recommend a soft bristled brush as it is easier on your gums and enamel yet effective enough to remove daily buildup and food particles.

The head size and brush shape are also important. You should be able to maneuver the brush comfortably around your mouth, especially when brushing around and behind your back teeth.

It is recommended that you change your toothbrush at least every four months, so if you can't remember when you last changed your tooth brush ...perhaps today is a good day.
