We wanted to begin this month’s eNewsletter by saying thank you to everyone who supported Dr. Warshafsky and his wife Erika in the
Sporting Life 10K Run. The event was a great success, raising over $500, 000 in support of Camp Oochigeas.

GO TEAM GO!!!
We are now focused on helping Tour De Tooth to raise funds for Princess Margaret Hospital.
As you may recall Dr. Silver, Dr. Shade, Dr. Warshafsky and Erika are participating in two day 200 kilometre bike run. If you would like to sponsor your favourite dentist ask us how or click here.

The beginning of summer is almost upon us which means school is ending, camp is starting and vacations are almost here! We understand the impulses and spontaneity that summer can bring. Please remember to notify us in advance if a summer activity creates the need to reschedule an appointment.

If you are due for your appointment please call or email Natalie or click here to request an appointment!

Have a great month filled with reasons to smile,

Dr. Silver, Dr. Warshafsky & the staff of Rosedale Dental Centre

Canadian Environment Week and Clean Air Day fall in the month of June. You may notice that we are trying to do our part to help conserve electricity around the office.

During the summer months we will be trying to cut down on the amount of lights used in areas that they are not needed.

Look for more 'green ideas' in future issues and remember that even little changes around your home and office add up...

Pregnancy is filled with exciting changes to your body, and your mouth is no exception! Changes in hormone levels during pregnancy increase the potential for dental problems, emphasizing the importance of proper and sometimes extra-ordinary oral hygiene.

Pregnancy Gingivitis is the most common of the dental concerns during a pregnancy. This form of Gingivitis is most prevalent between the second and eighth month of pregnancy. The symptoms associated with Pregnancy Gingivitis include:
gums that are red, swollen, tender, or bleeding during brushing and flossing.
