Our Food Drive was truly a success and your assistance was overwhelming! With your help we were able to collect and donated a lot of food to the

Daily Bread Food bank. We sincerely thank you for helping us make our first Food Drive a tremendous success. We look forward to expanding our results next year.

Taking a cue from your generosity, we also got into the holiday spirit. In lieu of a gift exchange between staff, we decided that money would be
put to better use through a donation to Sick Kids Hospital...we think it was definitely a much better cause.

Congratulations to the winner of our in office whitening draw. Mr. Shelly D. will experience our in office whitening service valued at $750!
Watch for more opportunities and contests in the upcoming issues of our eNewsletter.

January brings with it lots of resolutions such as; trying to eat healthier, reach new heights, lose some weight and perhaps even to finally quit smoking.
Kathy our dental assistant was successfully able to quit smoking over 3 months ago. She has utilized this time to put together a program to assist more people in achieving that same goal.

If you would like her to assist you be sure to read February’s newsletter for Kathy’s story!

So you were in a hurry, you picked up your mouthwash and had a quick rinse before you left the house, that's as good as brushing ...right?

WRONG!

Mouthwashes are effective at masking bad breath and as effective as rinsing with water with regards to removing surface particles. Don't get me wrong, I like to rinse with my favourite minty wash before I head out for the day, but it is no substitute for brushing and flossing.

In fact, a mouthwash is most effective right after a good brush and floss as it rinses away anything that was loosened and kills bacteria that still remain behind.
