The holiday season is upon us. Seasonal music has already
found its way into the stores, elevators, radio stations and right into
our subconscious.
The new year is right around the
corner! If you need any dental work completed before the end
of 2007 this is your reminder to give us a call.
Please note that traffic around our office has
been busier than normal with the construction in the area. Be sure to
give yourself some extra time if you have an appointment coming up.
Our office will be closed during some of the
holidays this month so please refer to our holiday schedule for a detailed
list of office hours, we will return to regular hours on January 2nd 2008.
We would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very
happy & healthy holiday season. We sincerely appreciate the
opportunity in caring for you and wish you & your family the very best in
2008!
Happy
Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Dr. Silver, Dr. Warshafsky & the staff of
Rosedale Dental Centre |

Our Food Drive is
still in full gear and the pressure is on this month to collect as much as
possible. |
|
If you haven't had the chance to drop off a
non-perishable food item there is still time! We really need your help to
make it a success.
The most needed items are peanut butter,
pastas, soups and canned fruits and vegetables; all of your donations will
be delivered directly to the food bank that can benefit so many families
this holiday season.
In addition we will provide you with a
ballot to win an in office bleaching experience! Our draw will be held on
December 21st so let's get collecting. |

It is recommended that you change your tooth brush at
least every four months. This ensures that the bristles are in good
condition for cleaning your teeth.
|
We
recommend a soft bristle brush used after every meal with a fluoride
toothpaste. Your toothbrush should be stored upright after use and never
shared. Also try to avoid letting your toothbrush touch your spouses if
you share a holder. After each use, rinse your brush under cold water,
give it a good shake and let it air dry. Don't cover your
'home use' toothbrush as it may create a place for bacteria to
flourish.
If you use a travel toothbrush, replace
it after your trip. It's also a good idea to replace your brush after a
cold or illness. |
|
If you're interested, ask us about
electric toothbrushes on your next visit, as studies have shown that users
tend to brush their teeth longer, it could be worth the minor investment.
