We hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween. Is the candy drawer at your house as full as at ours? Please remember to limit to amount of candy your children consume and ensure they practice proper brushing habits. Perhaps drop some of the excess treats off at our office for our food drive.
In this issue we would like to offer you some advice on caring for your toothbrush and announce the Rosedale Dental food drive. Please let us know what you'd like to see in future issues, remember, this newsletter is for you.
We also wanted to remind that if you have not yet booked your cleaning or any outstanding treatment that you have been meaning to book, you may wish to do so before the end of year. Please call us or click here and we would be happy to book your appointment.

Hanukkah & Christmas are just around the corner. With all of the excitement in preparing for the holidays it's important to remember the many families that are in need.
|
|
During the months of November & December our team is holding a food drive to benefit the Daily Bread Food Bank. The Daily Bread Food Bank is a longstanding organization that has been providing food to families in need since 1983. The demand is especially high during holiday seasons which is why we have decided to help. To learn more about the Daily Bread Food Bank click here.
Simply bring in a non-perishable food item to your next appointment or if you are in the area and we will give you a ballot eligible to win BRITESMILE In office bleaching valued at $750!
We will be drawing the winner on December 21st and the winners name will appear in our January Newsletter.
We hope that you will help us in collecting as much food as possible to assist needy families this holiday season. You will be helping to make someone's holiday brighter... and perhaps your teeth whiter!

It is recommended that you change your tooth brush at least every four months. This ensures that the bristles are in good condition for cleaning your teeth.
|
We recommend a soft bristle brush used after every meal with a fluoride toothpaste. Your toothbrush should be stored upright after use and never shared. Also try to avoid letting your toothbrush touch your spouses if you share a holder. After each use, rinse your brush under cold water, give it a good shake and let it air dry. Don't cover your 'home use' toothbrush as it may create a place for bacteria to flourish.
If you use a travel toothbrush, replace it after your trip. It's also a good idea to replace your brush after a cold or illness. |
|
If you're interested, ask us about electric toothbrushes on your next visit, as studies have shown that users tend to brush their teeth longer, it could be worth the minor investment.
