Remembrance Day Wednesday November 11th is Remembrance Day.
Please take a moment to remember those who sacrificed so much so that we may enjoy the freedom that we have today.
Traditionally a moment of silence is observed at the 11th hour of the 11day of the 11th month to recall the end of WWI through the signing of the Armistice.
A tradition that many Canadians observe is the wearing a red poppy on this day to remember those who were lost in battles past.
November is Diabetes Month. Did you know that there is a close association with
Oral Health & Diabetes? Gum disease is an infection in the gum, bone and tissues. Gum disease may eventually result in unstable base for your teeth, which then become mobile and may fall out or have to be removed.
Gum disease (periodontal disease) is a primary cause of tooth loss, and is often linked to diabetes.

Announcing our First Annual 'Blast From The Past
Toy Story' for the Hospital For Sick Kids.
From November 9th until December 22nd we will be collecting new unwrapped toys for the Hospital for Sick Children. With each donation simply write down or email us why you chose the toy and hand it in with your donation.
We will pick the best entry for a prize to be drawn on December 23rd. We hope everyone will have fun with this and we look forward to hearing your 'Toy Story'!
Food Drive 2009 We will also happily be accepting non-perishable food donations for the Daily Bread Food Bank between now & December 21st.
With each donation we will give you a ballot for your chance to win a prize.
We will draw two winners this year from the Toy Drive & the Food Drive. The final draw will take place December 23rd and the winner will be announced on January 6th, 2010.
We wanted to start by saying Thank You to everyone who helped out with the CN Tower climb. Our whole team finished the entire climb!
We'd like to thank our family & friends who supported us with donations or encouragement. We were able to raise over $1400 as a team! Over 12, 000 people climbed this year and overall the United Way is on track to meet their 2 million dollar goal!
We had a blast with our teammates & co-workers and happy to say we met our personal goal to this amazing accomplishment.
