The early storms of the season seem to have given way to some beautiful weather. Hopefully you've been able to take our advice regarding going for a walk after lunch, stretching at your desk, and wearing sunscreen!
 |
Here's another piece of advice that we're sure you've heard before; drink plenty of water!
This advice is especially important if you are engaged in activities in the summer heat. While there are many opinions regarding how much water you should be drinking, chances are you are currently not getting enough.
|
Here is a suggestion:
Keep a glass of water at your desk all day. You will find yourself reaching for it more often than you expect. It will also give you a reason to take a break and refill it throughout the day. Drinking water helps to properly hydrate you, cleanse your body and rinse bacteria from your mouth as you drink! |

If you know of someone who would benefit from our dental services, please let us know. We truly appreciate your confidence and your referrals!

Are you hesitant when you smile?
Is your smile missing something?
Maybe even a full tooth!
Many people, for one reason or another, have lost a tooth. Reasons range from poor dental hygiene to any variety of accidents. Whatever the reason for your missing tooth, we can often repair your smile and replace your tooth with a dental implant.
 |
A dental implant is a small prosthetic post that is placed into the jaw bone. The post functions as the root of a lost natural tooth and serves as an anchor for a replacement tooth. An artificial tooth is then attached to the post.
Dental implants look and feel exactly like natural teeth - no one other than you and your dentist will be able to tell the difference.

Look both ways before you cross the street, always hold an adults hand and brush your teeth after every meal were good pieces of advice when you were a kid.
Well guess what, you should always look both ways, it's nice to hold someone's hand and you should still brush your teeth after every meal.
|
Make a habit out of keeping a tooth brush at the office and take a moment to clean your teeth after lunch, (your email can wait). Keep your office tooth brush well covered, dry it after each use and change it more frequently than your home brush (due to office germs).
|
|
Brushing your teeth will help protect them from decay, refresh you, and get rid of the garlic taste from that pasta you ate, your mouth will appreciate it and so will your coworkers. |
